Having just moved to the upstate SC recently, I have noted many different BBQ restaurants around. But this is absolutely the REAL deal. No pretenses here. Just Great Food, Very Friendly Staff and an overall stunning value for the cost. I will undoubtedly become a regular. So glad to see that the family run restaurant still thrives and in this case excels in every way. Thanks! We will be back!

The food was great, I ate the buffet and the hash was perfect...the chicken had the best smoked flavor I have had in a long time... I am putting the Huntin' Camp at the top of my favorite BBQ restaurants in the Upcountry. The decor and atmosphere also keeps your attention giving you the hunting camp feeling. The service was outstanding and friendly...our waitress was Paddi and she did an outstanding job. Having been in the restaurant business before retiring, I saw a well organized team of staff and wished some of mine had run that smooth... We will make this a regular monthly stop.

I'm not going to say it didn't happen or that it did, But things do slip by in the food industry. And I feel that if you found something wrong with something and didn't bring it to the attention of the restaurant. That you are as much if more in the wrong for not bringing it to the attention of someone. So they may do something about it instead of passing it on to other customers. We at the Huntin Camp Encourage everybody to let us know how our food is and if there's something wrong we make it right.

The food was good and we enjoyed the meal until I helped myself to a small bowl of hairy peach cobbler! Believe me when I tell you the hair that made it to my lips before I felt it was not mine nor was it on the cobbler. It was more like baked into the crust. It was about 3 inches long and jet black and coarse. That did it for the meal. I couldn't eat another bite nor will I ever be able to return.

Food was absolutely fantastic; decor is perfect; all the staff was very friendly; met the owner on the way in and out. Great, great, great! I will definitely be back as often as possible. It's my new BBQ place of choice. My only suggestion would be to PLEASE add a vinegar-based cucumber salad to the menu and bar.
